Offered for children 2 years thru 6th grade, during the last half of the 11 AM worship service. When dismissed by the pastor,
children leave through the back door that leads to the fellowship hall.
All workers for children’s church have been screened & trained to work with your children.
Children meet all together for 10-15 minutes of music (led by Sandy Gallaway and Heather Martin) They learn fun & worshipful songs to glorify the Lord and share their musical talents with the congregation at least once per quarter. This is where the children practice for special programs, such as Christmas & Easter.
Following Music, the children are divided into age categories where they have a bible story and related craft or activity.

VBS is held nightly for one week in July from 6:30 P.M. - 8:35 P.M.
This is an event your children won’t want to miss!
We work on a rotation schedule that includes bible study, crafts, recreation & snack, music all related to a central biblical theme.
We work outside the box on this one!
There are over 70 workers & volunteers involved in this ministry. Throughout the week, we have an ongoing story skit led by the youth group, that is usually wrapped up with a video including highlights from the week. You may also order a DVD of the event.
There is a water night, a prize store, and surprise activities throughout the week. We wrap it all up with a Friday Night Church-wide Family Carnival. Excitement builds each night as we learn about, and glorify, our Lord at VBS.

Nursery
Dawn Drallette and our wonderful volunteer team of nursery workers will care for your children while you attend class, worship or special events.
All Nursery volunteers have been screened and trained to give your child the attention & care he/she needs in a clean, healthy, Christian environment. Helpers may include boys & girls from the 5th & 6th grade class as assistants. These children are chosen carefully and are always supervised by adults while caring for your children.
You will be asked to sign-in & given a number for identification and pick-up purposes. We also have a state-of-the-art pager system, should you be notified by the Nursery during services.
During Sunday School Nursery, older children will have a story and activity time as well as open play time.
For special events & programs, such as Revival, Christmas Programs, etc., we generally hire a team of care givers from another church, so our members can attend the event. These groups also have pre-screened helpers who are loving and well qualified to care for your children. The age for special event nursery is Infant through 4 years.
The Nursery is currently not available for activities held during the rental of the church Fellowship Hall & Kitchen.

Children 2nd grade* through 5th grade meet here at the church on Wednesday Evenings from 7-8 P.M.
Carol & her team work with the children on memory verses and their meaning, they conduct a bible study geared toward missions as they work together to tell the world about Jesus.
Each Sunday Morning in both services, the Young Missionary group recites their memory verse and takes up a collection (you can contribute your loose change or dollars) The money collected is counted monthly, and the children, with the help of their leaders, pray & decide how the money will be spent for local mission projects.
